FAQs

The FAQ page at Kayinkedit is designed to give you quick, clear answers to the most common questions about the tattoo process. It covers everything from booking and deposits to preparation, aftercare, pricing, and what to expect during your session. This page helps you feel confident and informed before your appointment, making the entire experience smooth, stress-free, and aligned with the level of quality and professionalism Kayinkedit stands for.

Can you cover up an old tattoo?

Cover-ups are possible depending on the size, color, and condition of the existing tattoo. A consultation is required to determine the best approach.

Do you allow numbing cream?

Yes, numbing cream is allowed, but it must be discussed and approved before your appointment. If you plan to use it, please apply it properly before arriving, as it can affect how the skin takes ink. For best results, I may recommend specific products or advise whether it’s suitable for your tattoo.

How do you price your tattoos?

Pricing is based on the size, detail, placement, and time required for your tattoo. Every piece is custom, so quotes are given individually after reviewing your idea. Larger or more detailed work may be priced by the session, while smaller pieces may have a set rate. My pricing reflects the quality, precision, and overall experience provided.

What’s the pain level like?

Pain varies depending on the placement, size, and your personal tolerance. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but most clients describe it as manageable. I work in a way that keeps you as comfortable as possible throughout the session.

TATTOO TIPS

Eat a full meal! Don’t come in on an empty stomach—this helps with pain tolerance and prevents dizziness. Also, stay hydrated, drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment.
